Postgraduate taught experience survey
The 2025 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is open and we invite all eligible students to take part.
All postgraduate students should have been sent an email from Professor Alasdair Blair via JISC Online Surveys with a link to take you directly to complete the survey online.
What is the PTES and why should I complete it?
The PTES gathers insights from postgraduate students on their teaching and learning experience. Your feedback is important to us and can make a real difference.
More than 120 UK universities are involved in the PTES, which is supported by AdvanceHE. Its results are also used to guide national policy and develop the postgraduate experience across the Higher Education sector. All data is held anonymously.
What’s in the survey?
The PTES only takes around 15 minutes to complete and includes the following topics:
- Teaching and learning
- Assessment and feedback
- Dissertation or final project
- Organisation and management
- Learning resources
- Skills and personal development
- Overall satisfaction
- Students’ motivations for taking their course
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.
You could win a £100 Love2Shop voucher!
ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ is offering six £100 Love2Shop vouchers to be awarded randomly to students who enter the online survey prize draw before midnight on 30 April 2025.
