Personal profile

Kath Wilson MA, BA Hons – Kath worked for the probation service in the West Midlands for 15 years before joining the Community and Criminal Justice Division at ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ in 2007. She chiefly teaches on the programme for Trainee Probation Officers and also teaches on the Undergraduate Applied Criminology Degree.

She is module leader for:

  • Values and Professional Practice levels 4-6 
  • Offender Management and Interventions again at levels 4-6.
  • Professional Development at level 5.

Her research interests lie in the field of probation work and the Criminal Justice System. In particular she is interested in service delivery to particular groups such as women and Lesbian and Gay offenders.
