Personal profile

I am a Lecturer in Psychology interested in neurodevelopmental disorders, with an emphasis on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). I am particularly interested in emotion regulation of individuals with autism and their parents through meditation and art-based activities. I am also interested in empathy in autism and other mental health conditions. My research interests lie within developmental psychology and quantitative means of data collection. My PhD research has focused on the development of an individualised autism profiling tool to inform decisions for intervention strategies that are tailored to the specific needs of autistic individuals and their caregivers.
