Deji O. Olagboye PhD. MSc. FCA. ACITN. is a Lecturer in Business and Management at the School of Leadership, Management, and Marketing, Leicester Castle Business School, ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥. He holds PhD in Business and Management Studies (ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥), MSc (Distinction) in Accounting and Finance (ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥), PGCert in International Business (ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥), HND in Accounting, and OND in Financial Studies. He is also a Fellow (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

His PhD focused mainly on Enterprise Survival and Growth: Classification, Structures, and Policy Development in Nigeria. During his PhD, he was a Part-Time Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥.

Before joining academia, he held various leadership roles in the financial service industry and professional practice - Head Energy Desk, Branch Manager, Team Lead Business Banking and Relationship Manager SME/Local Corporate. He has over fifteen (15) years of professional practice and industry experience. He also had volunteering engagements - Head, Credit Risk Management RMF/RCCG Multipurpose Cooperative Society, and Member School Leadership Team in charge of Administration for RMF/RCCG Business and Entrepreneurship Skill Acquisition Centre (BESAC). His many years of experience in the financial service industry, small business development and funding, and professional practice has largely driven his current research interests in entrepreneurship and SMEs, business development and sustainability, innovation and change management, strategy process and practice, and institutions.
