Angie is a Senior Lecturer in Business and Law at ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ with over 15 years of experience in higher education and program leadership. She began her academic career in 2009, focusing on program management and curriculum development, including leading HND courses and designing NVQ Level 7 programs. Her early roles also involved staff mentoring and co-authoring postgraduate frameworks, laying a strong foundation in teaching and academic administration.
Joining ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ full-time in 2016, Angie quickly advanced, earning promotion to Senior Lecturer in 2017 and taking on the role of Transnational Educational (TNE) Lead from 2020-2022, during which she oversaw nine international programs. A major achievement in curriculum development was the creation of ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥’s first cross-faculty Business and Law module in Academic Development and Professional Practice, which engaged students in local community projects with ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥-Local and was later adopted by multiple partner programs.
As TNE Lead, Angie gained extensive experience in international program management, leading collaborations with institutions in the Philippines, Denmark, India, and the UK. Her leadership was pivotal in validating ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥’s first bilingual Executive MBA and establishing quality assurance frameworks for partner programs.
Returning to ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥’s Business and Law (BAL) department, Angie managed the cross-faculty Creative Management and Marketing module, engaging over 1,000 students across ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ and TNE partner institutions. Shifting focus to postgraduate development, she contributed to ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥’s Education 2030 initiative, designing the Business Finance and Enterprise Development module for the Global MBA, which launched in March 2024. She is also developing the Business Strategy and Governance module for the BA Hons in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Angie remains committed to ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥’s global engagement, leading an upcoming academic trip to Manila under ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥Global, and has taken on a line management role, supporting and mentoring fellow academics. Her career is defined by a passion for curriculum innovation, international collaboration, and mentorship, enabling students and educational partners to reach new academic and professional heights.
